"...A
three wood because I feel best with

some time before or after your round to walk
through the Clubhouse and you'll see four beautiful works of art by
Timothy G. Hill. Oakridge is proud to be able to display the three
paintings and one graphite study. All are available for sale - detailed
information is located near each piece. Tim's work can be seen at
various galleries in Southern Ontario and he annually shows his latest
at the Buckhorn Fine Art Festival.

"Par-fection or Your Par"
"Par is perfect and always allows for two putts. Therefore a
par
four is played perfectly with one shot from the tee and second
shot onto the green allowing for two putts. But what's your
par?
It doesn't matter if you keep score at all, but if you do wouldn't it
be easier to enjoy yourself if you played to your par and not
perfection? Try this the next time you're playing
golf. If
you regularly shoot 90 (18 over par) make par threes into par fours,
par fours become par fives and par fives become par
sixes. What
did we really do here? Made the scorecard less
important. Made shooting well relative to our ability
easier! We made golf more fun; less stressful. Nobody
is
perfect all the time on the golf course. Please enjoy this
wonderful game. Try not to focus on
"par-fection." Golf is a
game. Games are fun and have a beginning and an
end. The
memories and the fun should last forever."
